Welcome to the BlenderTools Wiki!

Here you can find the links to the documentation for each of the Blender Addons in this Repository. There is also video documentation that accompanies most of the written documentation, so be sure to look for the links to those videos under each section!

If you are new to these tools, be sure to look for the 'quickstart' sections under each of the tools!

Creating Issues

Bug

IMPORTANT: Do this before you create a bug ticket!

  1. Remove Send to Unreal
  2. Download and install the latest version.
  3. If the bug still exists, report it by copying the info below into a new issue.

Use the 'Bug' Label

In the description paste in and edit the following:

Steps to Reproduce the Problem: i.e. I clicked Pipeline > Export > Send to Unreal Error Log: Paste the full error log OS: i.e.Windows, Mac, Linux Send to Unreal Version: i.e. Send to Unreal 1.4.0 Blender Version: i.e. Blender 2.83 Unreal Version: i.e. Unreal 4.25

Feature

IMPORTANT: Do this before you create a feature ticket!

  1. Search the Documentation
  2. Watch all the videos in the documentation
  3. If the action you are trying to do is currently not possible, or you think a pretty good case can be made for having a specific set of actions automated, create an issue for a new feature, by copying the info below.

Use the 'Feature' Label

In the description paste in and edit the following:

Asset Type: i.e This is for Skeletal Meshes or Collision Assets, or Dynamics, etc. Workflow: i.e. This is a very common thing all that environment artists have to do.
