Hi! Sorry for not responding, I've been busy and away for this project for a while.

This error is due to the code largely being written in Elixir 1.14, and as I have learned, Elixir is not backwards-compatible, so get_in straight up does not work in newer versions. I haven't had the energy to do migration work, but for now you can try compiling the fork in #150, which replaces usages with a safer, more verbose method.

I just tested this with Elixir 1.19 and it seems to me that get_in still works. Maybe I am wrong about backwards incompatibility? Which Elixir version are you using? (elixir --version)
