"Activate" button from thunderbird notifications does nothing

When I get a new email notification from the Thunderbird flatpak app it includes 3 buttons. "Activate", "Mark as Read", "Delete". All buttons work except activate. I can click on the notification body itself and it does what I think activate should do, it takes me to thunderbird and shows the email.

I can disable or enable other buttons except Activate. So my question is. Does anyone know how to either hide the Activate button in SwayNC settings or CSS or is there a way to make the activate button work like the default action?
