Always FALSE even when it's the same individual and the score is extremly high

Hello,

I'm having a problem with HotSpotter. I'm currently working on photo identification of green turtles, and when I compare photos using the software, I never get a "TRUE match," always "FALSE," even when I enter the same photo twice. I get a score that could be 2,000,000, but it's always shown as FALSE. I don't know if this has happened to any of you, and if so, how did you fix it?

The software only provides a ranking, it never makes a decision for you. The scores are not normalized, so you can't use the magnitude of the scores to predict if the match is correct or not, it is only relevant with respect to scores towards other images.
