Can not download playlist

I am using v2.14.1 and when I paste/click the playlist url in the section between "settings" and "Queue actions", it only pastes in the url to the & sign and does not include the list portion. Basically, it pastes in the url for the first video and drops the list. How do I download the playlist?

It sounds like you were using a URL that points to a YouTube video that's part of a playlist
(www.youtube.com/watch?v=<VIDEO_ID>&list=<PLAYLIST_ID>).

To download a playlist, you need to use a URL that points to the playlist
(www.youtube.com/playlist?list=<PLAYLIST_ID>).

I should clarify that what comes after the & sign does not matter. If you give that URL to yt-dlp, it will download the video the URL points to, not the playlist.
