QR Codes, Custom URL's and URL shortener

I would love to have a QR Code show up when sharing which would make it easier to get it on mobile.

Allow custom URLs for files for example "erugo.domain.com/shares/photos". This could be useful for shares that have long expiration time.

Also allowing some control over the generated URLs. Like allow them to be shorter or longer. Or at least make it easy to integrate a URL shortener.

was planning to use this for my workflow. But I think those random words in the URL make it seems off especially when you are working on corporate world.

example is domain.com/shares/super-long-withered-beard

my boss might be wondering what the heck im sending.

I ended up using “Copyparty”. The UI isn’t the greatest but apparently they are working on it. Other than that it’s great. It has all the features I wanted except a link shortner. But you can customise your link still.

You can try the "Pattern" option of the URL generation in Settings.

yeah on the newest version you can choose your URL now. All good.
