Maybe a little Cleanup of the Issue Tab is necessary?

As the title stated, I saw a few of the obsolete issues going as far as 2021.
As v3.0 was made, a lot of the older issues have become obsolete if its possible for the authors and the maintainers to go through the obsolete issues and close or delete as necessary that would be great. Same for the PR's as a lot of them are for older branches which are now obsolete.
