# Conference Venue - Prague Congress Centre

[The Prague Congress Centre](https://www.praguecc.cz/en/homepage) will host
EuroPython 2025 from **July 14th to July 20th**. It’s a renowned venue, having
hosted the IMF, NATO, and other significant international organizations.

The conference centre is adjacent to Vyšehrad—just a short walk from
[Náplavka](https://www.mmzoneblog.com/naplavka), a lively area filled with
cafes, pubs, and restaurants, perfect for relaxing by the river and soaking up
the city’s spirit.
**IMPORTANT:** Please use **Entrance 5** to access the conference.

Vyšehrad station (on Line C of the Prague underground railway) is right next to
the venue and offers convenient public transport from the airport and all major
rail and bus stations.

- **By metro:** Take metro line C (red line) to **Vyšehrad** station. Exit on the **Vyšehrad** side — the venue is right in front of you.

- **Náplavka from Vyšehrad:** A lively riverside area with pubs and spots to relax.

- **City center:** Take the metro two stops to **Muzeum** (line C), then exit onto Wenceslas Square. To explore further, transfer to the green line at **Muzeum** and go to **Staroměstská** (Old Town Square) or **Malostranská** (across the river).

### How to Get There
- **By bus:** The nearest stops are **Náměstí Winstona Churchilla** (line 135) and **Viktoria Žižkov** (lines 101, 123, 135, 175, 176). If you get off at **Náměstí Winstona Churchilla**, the entrance is directly across the street on **Italská**.
- **By tram:** From **Viktoria Žižkov** stop (lines 5, 9, 26), walk 5–10 minutes via **Seifertova Street**, through the park by **Winston Churchill Monument**, then up **Italská Street**. The entrance will be on your left.
- **By metro or train:** Go to **Hlavní nádraží** (main train station, line C). After exiting the metro, go up one level (not the ground floor) and turn left toward the **North Platform (Sever)**. Walk through the tunnel, take the escalators, then stairs, and you’ll reach **Italská Street**. The VŠE building will be right in front of you. Walk uphill for a minute or two — the entrance will be on your left.
