Consider forking plugin-scan #13
Description
When this is deployed to a remote server, there are a lot of things that need to be run and updated in plugin-scan.sh and plugin-scan.sh.xml. It might be easier to fork and update the things we need as opposed to depending on automated tasks to update and inject different pieces of code.
We should consider forking the script and adding what we need where we need it, and removing the submodule and associated scripts.
