#SQL Workbench CURRENT_TIME
#In this code sample, I encountered some issues as the sample didn't include parenthesis. I reviewed the online documentation and google but the options were not working #for me. I tried with CURRENT_TIMESTAMP but no results. I came up with the idea of adding CURRENT_TIME between parenthesis and it worked!

CREATE TABLE profesores(
	id_profesor INT PRIMARY KEY,
    nombre_profesor VARCHAR(100),
    salario DECIMAL(10,2) DEFAULT 1000.00,
    fecha_contratacion DATE DEFAULT (CURRENT_DATE),
