An event for Flag and Counter changes, like the one for Slider changes that was implemented in version 5184.

agreed, i would also like this. will look into how this could be done

ideally it would work the same way sliders do (i.e. get an instance of the relevant object, then subscribe to an event on that instance); but maybe this would need a migration plan since i think people rely on the existing implementation details
