unable to use configurator - WiFi issue

when i connect to the Tx/Rx WiFi network, the configurator won't update the ELRS firmware because it needs an internet connection ... which i don't have when connected to the Tx/Rx WiFi network

my router (OpenWRT) apparently cannot be connected to the WiFi network and the internet at the same time, yet the configurator needs both

I'm new, but I'm going crazy for sure! :-). For 2-3 days now I seem to have achieved what I wanted (to connect the Air 75 and Pocket ERLS or Wi-Fi but maybe it's something hardware. What is 100% hardware, that I can access more Beta FPV with a drone!?? I broke the usb plug on the AIO board. Any hope?
