Announcement: Rewriting git history

I don't have the impression this will affect many people since I'm the only one making commits on this repository, but I plan to rewrite the git history to remove my personal email address from the public metadata.

This will break compatibility with your cloned repository!!

I recommend cloning a new copy of the repository, and merging any changes you may have from your old clone. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
