If your question is not answered below, please also check the official Send Later documentation. In particular, the section about "Caveats and Known Issues" may be of interest.

How can I support Send Later?
You can donate to Extended Thunder, the non-profit charitable organization which financially supports Send Later development and maintenance, via either Liberapay (recurring) or PayPal (one-time). Donations are tax-deductible in the United States as permitted by law.
Why does Thunderbird say that Send Later requires unrestricted access to the system?
See the full answer here. The short answer is that it's impossible for Send Later to do its job otherwise, and Send Later's code has been reviewed by moderators who have confirmed that it doesn't do anything malicious or access anything it shouldn't.
Why can't I use encryption or digital signatures with Send Later?
The APIs provided to extensions by Thunderbird don't expose any of the encryption and signing functionality built into the application, so it's impossible for Send Later to do the right thing with regards to encryption or signing. As of release 10.0.9 of Send Later or any newer release, it will not let you schedule a draft if you have encryption, signing, or drafts encryption enabled.
The Send Later column in the drafts folder's message list is missing
Starting with Thunderbird 115 it is no longer possible for add-ons to add custom columns to the message list. As a result the extra column that you could previously add to the message list in your drafts folder to see the send times of scheduled messages is not available for Thunderbird 115 or newer. We hope to add back this functionality when Thunderbird once again supports it. In the meantime, you can see a list of scheduled messages by clicking the Send Later button in the main Thunderbird window.
The drafts column does not retain its sort order or position when restarting Thunderbird
This is related to a Thunderbird problem that has been documented here. There is a proposed solution in the works here, which will make it into a future version of Thunderbird.
