ok so i just got replies from both sdr++ and sdrangel. pluto is just a no. it doesn't work. so it looks like my tezuka firmware is probably running fine but i wont be able to enjoy it until someone writes an sdr app to turn audio to rf and vice versa. frankly i am really surprised that there is literally nothing available. powerful modern tablets and tiny wideband sdr at reasonable prices..... |

it seems all my network ports on localhost are getting redirected to the sdr ip address. strange. (all on 192.168.2.1) |

Your board delivering you a 192.168.2.10 address through ip over usb. |

so i decided to start with a clean system. installed the latest debian xfce on a laptop, plugged in the sdr and network wont connect to it at all. i get the usb drive but thats all. is there a way to reset the persistent settings (virtual usb with config.txt) and i will start again. i can still get an ip on the server and tablet, but only a 10. xxx local ip on the fresh debian install. |

i also got this suggestion elsewhere could it be possible to run the sdr software on the sdr hardware as its already running linux, Possibly. Try compiling the server version of SDRangel - and then run Remote TCP Sink plugin. and control it from android like you would a websdr? Yep. You can use Remote TCP Device in SDRangel to connect to a remote device. |

i have been trying to get something working for a few months learning as i go but progress has stalled and it seems like nobody ever does what i am trying.
i have the fishball 7020 and latest tezuka running on sd. i did test the board on my linux desktop and rx worked. just to know the board is good.
i edited the virtual drive configuration file and got the sdr in ecm mode for android, and android shows 192.168.2.1 having several open ports. there is 5555 which i assume is adb bridge (correct me please if this is from the sdr), 8091, and one or sometimes two other random port numbers that are different each time i reboot the sdr.
my main problem is i dont know what i should be expecting to see here and how to take it further if it is all correct.
so far i only know 2 apps that should support pluto on android and they are sdrangel and sdr++.
both have no documentation relating to android or this use. sdr++ did have a forum post saying that the pluto ip was fixed to 192.168.2.1 which is why i reverted to that. neither software has connected to the sdr yet.
there are parts of the puzzle missing but i know i am so close to getting it working.
my end application is a light portable qo100 transceiver that i can go trekking with. i only need ssb, and bought specially a blackview rugged tablet that has enough battery to run the sdr for hours if not days.
so if anyone has any ideas, or could even plug a tezuka into an android device for a quick portscan or test you will be doing me a great service. anything will be useful to help diagnose what part of the system is needing adjustments. and what the ports im seeing are for.
