Devload, dynamic device driver loader. Originally downloaded from:
2+
http://www.infradead.org/devload/
3+
along with the associated PostScript (ps) file, which (so I could
4+
read it) was converted to the included Portable Document File (pdf).
5+
6+
It is included within the base set as an equivalent program to
7+
IBM's PC-DOS 2000's DYNALOAD utility program, which performs
8+
a similar action of allowing one to load device drivers (*) from the
9+
command prompt, i.e. after config.sys processing has long since been
10+
completed. However, the author of this program may not be aware of its
11+
usage in this manner (though its use should be compliant with the GPL).
12+
13+
* No guarentee is made that any particular device driver will load
14+
in this manner.

This was my `A' level Computing Project, submitted in Summer '93. The
31+
project writeup is provided as it was submitted.
32+
33+
DEVLOAD provides a method of loading device drivers from the command
34+
line under MS-DOS, rather than having to re-boot in order to load extra
35+
drivers.
