Proposal for v2: for DOIs, we use DOI content negotioation exclusively to get info, such as author, citation (and potentially abstract). not all journals provide abstract. For that, I propose we leave as is (or provide a one liner why we can't retrieve the abstract).

Keeping multiple sources of truth should not be needed.
