While I understand the importance to stream line the control keys I feel strongly adding a few more would be helpful. I hardly feel that having these extra keys would be BAD design when literally every RPG system and game utilizes atleast 2 of these keys and they feel second nature when playing games. Atleast in my opinion as a retro and modern day video game collector those keys are almost always used. |

They really need to sort the input system, gamemodes shouldn't have to rely on global input bindings as a lot of people like to bind keys to something fancy. Battleroyale players might want a bunch of keys different to what they are used for on another gamemode. Gamemodes should have their own key bindings for that gamemode, could still be done in the s&box menu however, or each gamemode could add a bind menu themselves. Otherwise I feel like gamemodes will feel less like games and turn into gmod with stupid keys such as F4 and using commands to open menues. |

These can be put on to any custom function but the idea is that gamemode developers could use these to perform specific RPG type functions such as M for the map key, O for the friends key, L for quests, and I for inventory. When a player plays an RPG type game, they expect the ability to run these commands to open the up those menus so that they don't have to manually do so. Players would get frustrated that they didn't have the ability to just do this. And using existing default keybinds would not work as well with the design of RPGs as most players expect those button to access those functions.
