This is an interesting idea. What I have wanted to implement for a long time is that the webapp would remember which map you had last opened and open that again when you open the app. Would that be enough for your needs, or do you want to add the app multiple times to your home screen for different maps? |

Hey thanks for your answer :) In my specific case I don’t know if it would fully, because I tend to empty browser data on quit, or use Firefox Focus, and I’m not sure it would keep stored. But maybe that’s my specific. I don’t plan to use several maps, but I can see how that could be useful for some people. My reference would be how I use the YR.no weather forecast website: I have saved a specific city page on my homescreen, and it goes straight to it. So could be interesting to look how it’s done there? |

It’s not difficult to implement, the question is more how we would want it to behave. When you have a collaborative map open and add it to the homescreen, would you still expect the “Collaborative maps” dropdown to be there in the toolbox, allowing you to close the map or switch to another one? I could implement it in a way that when you "add to homescreen" FacilMap without having a map open, it would act like today, but when you add it while having a map open, it would always open that map without the possibility to close it or switch to another one (the “Collaborative maps” dropdown would be hidden). |

I’d like to add my map to my Android homescreen. From Firefox, I go the the menu and I choose Add to homescreen. However, it is the entire facilmap.org which is added as webapp. So when I open it, it goes to the defaultview with no map opened, not my map. How to pin a specific map to a homescreen, any idea?
