Did you try to reload the discord client by clicking Ctrl + R

If you are registering global commands, there will be around an hour between the time of creation and the time of users being able to see them.

To bypass that, checkout the MyClient class at https://github.com/Rapptz/discord.py/blob/v2.5.2/examples/app_commands/basic.py

It was an hour previously when they initially launched, but now its almost instant, but during dev its recommended to just test with a single guild when syncing
