Access is generally meant for in-flow access (during processing, within context) only, not from outside. For external access different mechanism is intended: But since this is coming up quite often, I wonder if it'd make sense to start exposing |

How do I get PropertyWriters for a type?
(or perhaps: What is the right way to get PropertyWriters for a type?)
In Jackson 2.x; I did this:
In Jackson 3.x; I am doing this:
The underscore and the associated JavaDoc indicate to me that I am doing something wrong. Lol.
Why?
I am doing some custom JSON serialization with a custom Annotation, so I use
propertyWriter.getAnnotation(MyAnnotation.class)I searched for open discussions and found this one that is close, but not exactly the same.
