Friend only fails to find specific friend with changed support layout in Grand Battle #2013

Describe the bug
When trying to get a very specific saber medusa for Grand Battle, I noticed it would not pick the correct saber medusa from my friends list, instead defaulting to the first saber medusa it could find.
When using the support image maker the image it captures only seems to capture the first one or two japanese characters on the far right of the screen, along with the top half of black grail which they both share.
