Description
Issue description
It seems that the Colour Scheme of the Media Writer isn't persistent and, when confirming if a USB should be erased, the text on the buttons is invisible unless you hover over them.
As you can see below, there's a dark border as if it wants to be in dark mode, but then goes to white. However, the Erase confirmation prompt has white buttons with white text instead of white buttons with dark text (like the Download & Write button at bottom right)
Operating system
Windows 11
Steps to reproduce the issue
To view the mismatching background colours:
- Download & Install latest release (I used https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter/releases/tag/5.3.0, which is latest at the time of writing)
- Open the tool
- See the mismatching background colours
To see the invisible text on buttons, continue with the steps below:
- Select the
Download automaticallyoption and hitNext - Select a Fedora Release that you want (For example, Official Editions - Fedora KDE Plasma Desktop) and hit
Next - Make sure the Version, Hardware Architecture, and USB Drive is correct, toggle
Delete download after writingif you wish, then hitWrite - See the
Erase confirmationprompt.
