Hmm, npm says the plugin doesn't contain a package.json, but this cannot be true, the plugin hasn't been updated in nine months. Please just try again for the moment (might want to try emptying npm's cache, though).

Well this is a week now and I am still getting same error.

Hmm, okay. Could you tell me which versions of everything (npm, cordova, all of it) you're using? I'll try to reproduce this on my machine as well.

Could you try updating to node v10 and npm v6 and see if this resolves the problem?
