Can't delete lines to/from nodes

I've got this automation that I want to insert a delay after the trigger:

I'm unable to delete the connections between the time/state nodes and the select option node.

Everything else seems to be fine.

I'm running into some really interesting weirdness. The "delay" in file "registation" between HA automation tools and CAFE is real. It takes some (don't know how many, haven't extensively tested it) for the "latest" yaml to be imported into CAFE.

So I have this automation that changes a position on my sleep number bed (the diagram above):

Opening with CAFE gives the image above.

Trying to delete the section option node, recreating and then connecting produces error that it can't find the deleted node, even though it's no longer referenced.

For fun, I decided to recreate this from scratch in CAFE.

Picking devices in the Trigger-> Device is challenging because they are randomly presented. Having a sorted list (and/or be able to filter) would be awesome.

I can no longer delete the lines between the time/state nodes and the turn_on node.

Furthermore, when I try to save this, I get:

Failed to create automation: Failed to save automation config: Unknown error
