Hi @pfurrie, I haven't developed anything for HA yet, so I might be telling complete no-nonsense here...
And that properties panel is also heavily under development in the latest HA releases, and gets better over and over again. Suppose (don't know...) it is possible for this integration to show that same sidebar, wouldn't that be better. Because it feels like reinventing hot water again? Imho if that properties panel could be reused, that would also allow this integration to keep up more easily with new automation features (which are being added to the HA core all the time). But I might be overlooking something, so please don't hesistate to correct me!! |

Although of course the right sidebar of this integration shows much more information (debug, yaml, traces, ...) as the sidebar in the standard automation editor. So my proposal makes no sense. Sorry for the noise! |
