ABOUT THE HACKATHON

Welcome to PL_Genesis: Frontiers of Collaboration
PL_Genesis: Frontiers of Collaboration is the next chapter in Protocol Labs’ global builder series. It is an open invitation to explore how coordination, governance, and shared intelligence can reshape how humans collaborate across critical technological frontiers.

This season brings together developers, researchers, and founders working across Web3 and Digital Human Rights, Crypto and Economic Systems, AI/AGI and Robotics, and Neurotechnology and Brain–Computer Interfaces — areas where new coordination primitives and infrastructure are urgently needed.

The hackathon features over $150,000 in rewards and two competition tracks: Fresh Code, for brand new projects, and Existing Code, for teams extending live systems with meaningful new work.

Select teams from PL_Genesis: Frontiers of Collaboration will be invited to join the Founders Forge Accelerator, gaining access to mentorship, grants, and the full Protocol Labs innovation network to continue development beyond the hackathon.

It’s time to build the tools that enable open collaboration across every frontier.
