Toggle for a muted apps reminder notification

I'm an idiot, but maybe there's a solution...

Long, sad story short. I muted my browser, completely forgot about it, then spent an hour reinstalling audio/video/troubleshooting.

Maybe there could be a lil window/notification that pops up to let you know the app/software you're opening/coming back to, is muted. Of course, this would be an on/off toggle. After this experience, I'd leave it on. Maybe something like:

"Remind me of muted applications"
Show reminder when using muted applications.

Anywho, I know I'm not the only one (or am I?), so maybe it's something worth looking into to make great software even better for dumb people 😆
