snap packaging

Hey,

Would you like age distributed as a snap? As a PoC I set up my fork to auto build snap artifacts for all their supported architectures; the results are available as this unlisted snap.

Here's a quick example of installing the PoC. Both age-keygen and age can be packaged in the same snap, the naming convention I used for demonstration is horrid but you could do whatever you'd like here.

$ snap install age-cli --candidate
$ age-cli
$ age-cli.age-keygen-cli

I can transfer you ownership of this snap name or you could reach out to canonical if you want to get the name age. Nobody has taken that name yet; I know from experience that they require manual approval for all three letter names. If you're logged in you could go here to place that request

If you don't want age distributed through snapcraft let me know and I'll remove it immediately, if you have any questions let me know.
