[Feature Request] Current category

It would be nice if we could get the current category tab (or if the widget had a controller, so we can read/write multiple settings).

My scenario: I'm letting the user chose between common emojis or simplified ones. In my case, this is done by a theme change (so, basically, the page is rebuilt whenever the theme changes), and this causes the selected category tab to be the first one (I could not set otherwise, because I don't have how to get the last selected tab).

(in the image above, notice how I select the "Buildings" tab and then change the icon theme: it refreshes the page and selects the first page, breaking the fade animation)
