Some calendar systems have designators or names for weeks that are used instead of day numbers (e.g. the Gloranthan calendar used in RuneQuest). There is no current functionality to designate weeks, making date reference for systems like this visible at a glance

A method to notate week names and corresponding labels in the month/season view (e.g. how day names are displayed already).

Describe alternatives you've considered
I cannot think of a good alternative as I don't know of another way to notate weeks in the calendar.

I am not familiar with RuneQuest. If I am understanding correctly, are you asking for the ability to set custom names for things like the first / second / third / etc week of the month?
Would you be wiling to provide an example of how this might work?

I am not familiar with RuneQuest. If I am understanding correctly, are you asking for the ability to set custom names for things like the first / second / third / etc week of the month? Would you be wiling to provide an example of how this might work?

yes, that's what I meant. Here's an example of a month from the Gloranthan calendar:

And here's the extent to which I can currently reproduce it in SCR v13

in this calender's case there are 6 months which are identical in length with identically named weeks, and one (2 week) intercalary period with different week names. As such, I'm not sure how you could implement this without it being manual per-month (perhaps with some ability to copy from one to all months to reduce manual entry). From a UI standpoint it seems similar to the day abbreviations already present, just for the rows instead of columns, obviously.

Gotcha, thanks for the detailed example.
I'd be willing to add this sort of functionality, but not sure on an ETA yet.
This might be a v2.6.x thing at the earliest.

As far as implementation, I am thinking that this is likely the only feasible way to implement this sort of thing, especially since it would need to be flexible enough to be able to support months where the week names might be different, even if that isnt the case for the Gloranthan calendar specifically.
