VRInstaller doesn’t work on Linux

Running the installer, and it can not find globalgamemanagers in /SKP_x64_Data, It does no exist.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. install dependancies with CKAN
2. run installer with wine

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

expected the file to exist there and the installer to finish.

• OS: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS x86_64
• KSP Version: 1.12.1
• VR Hardware: Quest 3
• Kerbal-VR Version: 0.9.4.2

I did find 2 files with the same name under 2 different locations, /KSP_Data and /KSPLauncher_Data

@SpeedrunnerG55 Linux has not been tested at all. I’d suggest using proton but I’m not very familiar with it.

Kerbal-VR requires a few native libraries that only have windows versions in the current distribution. We can probably find Linux versions of those but I have no way to test them. If you want to be the guinea pig I can try to help.

The first step would be to rename your KSP_Data folder to what the vr installer expects, run it, and then rename the folder back.
