file doesn't exists when it clearly does exists on my storage

I downloaded a song from youtube with ytdlnis and when i select the mp3 in jukbox, it errors saying that the selected file doesn't exist, BUT IT'S LITERALLY RIGHT THERE IN MY FILES APP. How can it not find it when I can literally see it in my files app? The strange part is if I use a 3rd party file manager, like file manger +, then it works fine. It's the default built in file manager that has this issue which is really strange. what's the problem? is this a bug?

having this exact issue since today
no idea how to fix, gds reported me for asking for help, and jukebox/song file huh discord is pointless because nobody talks there. no clue what to do tbh

FOUND A FIX !!! go to your phone's settings, apps, then go to geode and allow File access. that fixed it for me !!!

ok i got it to work. turns out its more of an android foldering issue but idk who to blame here so it's a draw so I used ytdlnis to download the mp3 files, but it goes into a sub folder in the downloads folder. you can clearly get there through the android files app. however thats not what geode thinks. for geode to find the mp3. you have to instead select "Audio" on the sidebar, then there are sub folders of the youtube channel name, and inside that folder is the mp3 file, and thats how geode detected my mp3. not sure what that's a bug but it is

Click internal storage and then the download folder instead of just the download button on the side
