Description
From user:
Idk if this is an android problem or browser or flowcrypt app. It doesn't happen with yahoo or outlook apps.
Hoping you can point me to a solution.
Android screen shows me an icon indicating how many unopened emails I have but they don't clear once I have read them. If I restart the phone they clear. Otherwise I have to try to remember how many there were the last time or just keep opening it to check. Annoying.
We've asked the user for a more clearer description of the issue they are experiencing on the android app, and they responded politely.
It may be that I did not well explain the phenomenon I am seeing. The unread messages are NOT marked as unread in my inbox, but they show up with a small number on the app icon on the android. Like right now it says "2" in a red circle. Then I open flowcrypt (on the android) and there are no unread messages in the inbox, either showing there or if I filter by unread messages.. Even the first time the number appears, when I CAN go in and read the messages, the numbered circle doesn't go away. If I filter by unread it tells me there are none. Then I go back out to the screen where the app icons are shown and it's still flagging unread messages. The other apps I have on the phone (outlook and yahoo mail) count properly--if I go and read 2 messages then come back to the screen and the number shows 2 less messages than before. I don't have that feature of showing me the unread messages on my computer desktop so it's hard to isolate where the problem is introduced. I hope this may be clearer.
