If/else condition with conversational retrieval qa chain

i am curious if "if" condition satisfy then it goes to custom js function which i want but if the condition does't satisfy and it returns false at that case i want the question should goes to conversational retrieval QA chain and continue the conversation can anyone provide a demo of this type of flow.
