Unable to add credentials (even after earlier fix)

There was an issue with credentials, posted as #1533. According to the discussion, it was closed with release 1.4.10. However, I'm experiencing the same issue while using 1.5.0. As I'm unable to re-open that closed discussion, I'm creating this as new.
