optimal # of tools for agent

hi everyone, i'm trying to build a chatbot with an agent as the chatflow endpoint, and am wondering if there is any best-practice for optimal number of tools to connect to an agent.
(meaning optimal, for my case i guess would be latency (speed), whilst not confusing which tools to use (hallucination, etc.))

is there any framework / reference information regarding this information
