How to pass variables to a child flow or between flows in Flowise?

I have multiple agentflows. I can access the variables from the parent node. But when I try to access the same variables I can't get them. How to pass variables between flows? In flow.state or vars

I was intrigued by your question so I decided to check and I'm not sure theres an OFFICIAL way to do this, but it is possible to do with override config

Within the slave node, go to configuration and enable override config, then under the start node dropdown right below enable the startState input override toggle

Then within your master node, you can transform your state to the startState format with a custom function

return JSON.stringify(new_flowstate).replace(/\\/g, '\\\\').replace(/"/g, '\\"')

Then finally on the master node you can pass it into your execute nodes override config as shown here:
