A gallery or film strip where instead of cutting each golden out from a given Finder, the cutout is some area around a Finder, representing focal point.

Consider golden tests for a calendar day selector:

You want to visually verify focus behavior, but you don't want to save a bunch of large screenshots of the whole picker for each focus change. Instead, you can extra a focal point, which finds the widget with focus and then cuts out an area around it.

This saves image data space, visual space, and draws the reviewers attention to where it belongs.
