[Help]: I'm trying add nodes programtically but background becomes white without gridlines

I'm trying to add nodes one under the other as below, where i open a dropdown automatically when the node is created which allows me to scroll to the position of the node , but after adding the first 2 nodes , the third node wouldn't have any grid lines and the connections go for a toss. How do I scroll to the canvas position where the node is being added and there is grid lines in the background. Also I would like to know if not having grid lines in the background cause an issue with the connections being placed at different positions?

If the goal is to move the viewport to the position of a newly created node, you can use the built-in centerNode functionality described here:

As for the rest — I wasn’t able to fully understand the issue from your description. The grid itself is infinite (it doesn’t just disappear), so if you believe there’s a rendering problem, it might either be a bug in your implementation or in the library itself.

In that case, it would be best if you could open a proper bug report with a clear description and reproducible steps. That way we can investigate it properly.
