Ignore .liquid extension on Asset files #3

Is this project still being worked on?
If so, just wondering if it may be possible to ignore the .liquid extension on Asset files like css and js.
So when I open theme.scss.liquid, it currently opens with the liquid viewer, could this be prevented so proper highlighting of the *.scss, *.js, *.css files?
