Time before snapshot script

Hi. I have a little problem and I'm looking for help. I'm using script before snapshot to turn on the light but my fisheye raspi camera need 5 seconds to stabilize after light changed.
It is possible to add a field or something with time to run the script before snapshot?

Currently I have added time.sleep(5) i my turn light script but this delays all prints.
