Steps to reproduce the bug

• Birthday Adapter
  • Follow the instructions (step 1-3 in the Main tab)
    • Enable Birthday Adapter
      • Select "ALLOW" in the "Allow Birthday Adapter to access your calendar?" prompt.
      • Select "ALLOW" in the "Allow Birthday Adapter to access your contacts?" prompt.
• Contacts: Create a contact with birthday 1 January this year
• Fossify Calendar
  • Settings -> Enable "CalDAV sync"
  • "Allow Calendar to access your calendar?": ALLOW
  • Select calendars to sync: BIRTHDAY ADAPTER [section], enable Birthdays
• Birthday Adapter
  • Navigate to Preferences
  • Click on "Synchronize now!"
• Fossify Calendar, the contact birthday will now be visible in the calendar
• Contacts: Change the birthday to 3 January
• Birthday Adapter
  • Navigate to Preferences
  • Click on "Synchronize now!"

To add some context: Birthday Adapter adds an android calendar with birthdays from the users contacts' dates.
When adapting the settings in birthday calendar (for example provoking an update of all entries with changed reminders), you can notice duplicate entries in Fossify Calendar.

Delayed deletions and updates also occur with other synchronized calendars, not only the birthday adapter. But birthday adapter makes it visible conveniently.

I believe it is a Fossify Calendar issue, as I see the events being synchronized to the Google calendar directly. In Fossify Calendar they update only after changing the calendar view multiple times (not sure when it happens exactly). After browsing through the different calendar views in Fossify Calender, the dates are being updated.

Couldn't reproduce after a couple of tries. The birthday event is moved immediately to January 3 after syncing in the Birthday adapter app. The delay might be due to a slow sync/refresh in Fossify Calendar.

It works "best" when changing the reminder settings in birthday adapter, as this provokes a deletion of all events and setting them back up. In Fossify Calendar this results in duplicates for a certain time. Change reminder settings multiple times to create even more duplicates.

(I have about 200 contacts and about 150 events)

I'm not seeing any delay at all, but I was able to reproduce the duplicated event issue.

Does it update immediately if you manually refresh CalDAV calendars in Fossify Calendar?
