Feature description
I think it would be nice to have the ability to change the frequency at which the backups are made. For example once per day/week/month, or even (maybe in conjunction) "only when a change is made".
Why do you want this feature?
I feel like the way things are now, I end up with a folder full of the exact same file over and over just with a different filename, which doesn't serve me any purpose but to create clutter.
Additional information
This is possibly related to #88, but the specific way in which the issue of many redundant backups is is proposed to be addressed is quite different, so I figured it should be a separate feature request.
Thanks for the consideration!
