Feature description
If a "rename" option were added to the [3-dot] menu at the top right of a folder window, it would make such a difference. I use rename frequently, and would appreciate having the option in Fossify File Manager.
Why do you want this feature?
Being able to shorted file names would make navigating them much more efficient. I would really like to use File Manager as my default app, but the lack of a rename option hampers my ability to quickly find the file I need, because the file names are often too long to be visible.
