Add progress feedback for compressing files or folders #294

Feature description
When compressing a file or folder it would be great to get feedback on the progress of the operation. This could be a progress bar, a text prompt to say the compressed file is complete or really anything at all.
At the moment the only way to know if a file has completely been created is to refresh the folder and check the file size hasn't changed.
Why do you want this feature?
I want this feature so that I can be notified when a file has finished compressing, and so that I don't have to repeatedly refresh the folder to check.
