Keyboard does not apear when editing a blank text file

1. Create an empty txt file.
2. Open it and tap on screen.

Expected behavior

Keyboard should apear as it does if file is not empty.

Actual behavior

Keyboard does not appear.

I apologize. I think it's an issue with Florisboard. Fossify keyboard seems to be working. But I had to tap directly on that blinking "|". Anywhere else it would not work.
