I just read in the app's FAQ that to be able to see the app widget, the app needs to be installed in the internal storage rather than an SD card. I just installed the app through f-droid and have no idea where it got installed 😕 How can I verify that, and if it is in the SD card how do I move it to the internal storage? 🤔 |

It is most likely installed on the Internal storage. You can find more information and change storage in Settings ➜ Apps ➜ Fossify App ➜ Storage. What device are you on, and which app is your question about? |

Ok, I just found it:

So I now have the widget for the clock, thank you. 😊
However, it just shows me the clock itself, which is disappointing. 😞
The reason I wanted to look into widgets in the first place was because I thought that might have been how to get the timer countdown displayed while I'm multitasking (e.g watching a Youtube video while I'm cooking 😛).
The default Clock app on Samsung phones does that, so if I multitask on any app (whether a movie, a Signal conversation, or anything else...) I get the timer countdown disaplayed over the other app, and I thought that was what widgets would do.
