The apostrophe should be accesible in the English layout without switching to the symbols screen.

Why do you want this feature?

The apostrophe is used so often while typing English that it needs to be accesible from the main letters screen.

Added it as a pop-up character on the dot key. FYI, apostrophe is available as a primary key in the English (DVORAK) layout.

With this solution, you still have to long-press and then scroll, which is still very slow. Most other keyboards have this character available by long-pressing the N key. This is the best solution for the apostrophe.
