Lock screen player buttons change position depending on cover art presence

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. start playing a song with cover art
2. lock the screen
3. the lock screen widget shows the player controls and then a small square to the right with the cover art
4. press forward to play a different song, which does not have cover art
5. the right square disappears and the player controls move right to fit the remaining space

Expected behavior

The position of the controls should be consistent so that skipping through multiple songs would maintain the same position for the controls instead of having the buttons suddenly move under the fingertip. Maybe keep a blank square when no cover art can be found.

Actual behavior

The controls move after the next song starts playing, making the process of skipping forward multiple songs uncomfortable

Sometimes I can also see the proper cover art for a song which then immediately (less than 0.5s) disappears
